Company adds new Midland district engineer and opens Houston commercial office in response to increasing demand from Permian Basin operators
(Houston, Texas, USA) – WellDog announced today that it has increased its technical and commercial capacities dedicated to the Permian Basin. The additions include a new district manager, Kendall Mire, based out of the company’s operational base in Midland/Odessa and a new office in Houston, close to the headquarters of many Permian Basin operators.
“With the upswing in drilling and completion activity in Texas, operators are turning to our technical products and services to optimize production and control margins,” said James Walker, president of WellDog. “Adding Kendall will help them understand how to best integrate our services into their operations. Consolidating our product management team in Houston will provide operators with immediate, convenient support.”
Kendall Mire previously worked as a service and project engineer at Baker Hughes, Halliburton and Siemens. He is highly experienced in completions and surface control and data acquisition. Kendall received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, and has worked in the Permian Basin extensively.
WellDog’s new office in Houston is located at 1415 North Loop West, Mezzanine A, Houston, TX 77008. The company’s primary product management, customer support, and executive team, including Walker, is now based from that office.
